My ultimate goal as a tattoo artist is to make the tattoo space more welcoming to Black and Non-Black POC, Women, Femmes, Trans, and Queer Folk.
Jen has been tattooing for the past 5+ years, but art has played a big role in her life since she was young as a way to express herself. Although she didn’t know she wanted to become a tattoo artist until her mid-20s, she’s since made it her ultimate goal to make the tattoo space more welcoming to Black and Non-Black POC, Women, Femmes, Trans, and Queer Folk.
Jen’s favorite part of the job is her clients. She always focuses on making the tattoo experience restorative and empowering and enjoys the lasting impression she gets to make.
With more than 1,000 tattoos under her belt, Jen’s constantly inspired by nature and checking out museums. She describes her work as illustrative, blackwork, and feminine.
Jen’s favorite thing about Asheville is the nature and the mountains. In fact, she’s often driving the Blue Ridge Parkway looking for the best spot to watch the sunset. When she’s not tattooing or enjoying the outdoors, you can find her at her favorite restaurant – Thai Pearl. A fan of Japanese fashion, she hopes to one day visit the country.
