I seek tattoo inspiration in my dreams, nature, and unique color schemes. I love to create art that “picks people up.”
Camille knew from a young age that she wanted to become a tattoo artist. Although it wasn’t as common of a career choice for women back then, it was something she always dreamed of.
She began her apprenticeship under Spider Webb in NYC in 1995 when she was 18 years old. For the past 27 years, she’s given approximately a gazillion tattoos and loves watching her clients’ face light up when they see their new ink.
She describes her tattoo style as fun, bold, bright, and versatile. Camille’s art is inspired by her own dreams, nature, and unique color schemes. She loves creating art that “picks people up.”
In her spare time, Camille enjoys checking out small music venues and of course, Waffle House. When she’s not creating art, she’s taking in the view from her ultimate favorite spot – her back porch. Her favorite part of living in Asheville is experiencing all the seasons, and she hopes to one day visit Japan.
Her advice for a first-time client is simple: research artists that work in a style you like, find someone you click with and trust, and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
